The Question of Paid Forum Posting07.29.10

There are two very definitive schools of thought on paid forum posting. Some forum owners find it an effective way to jump start their forum or message board. Others consider it cheating of the most heinous sort.

Essentially, paid forum hosting is a service where writers post threads and replies on your forum to start conversations and make your forum look busy and active. Since random visitors to the forum are not likely to post on a forum that has no conversations, this type of forum population can be very effective.

But what about the naysayers?

Some forum owners consider paid forum posting to be cheating. After all, these people are being paid to post on your forum, and are unlikely to stick around after the job is done. Also, there are sometimes problems with the quality of posts written.

Paid forum posting comes down to personal choice. Will you use it as a jump start to your forum, or will you instead attract real users the old fashioned way – through dogged hard work?

Choose a Product Line for Your Ecommerce Store07.22.10

Ecommerce is also known as etail (instead of retail) or simply online sales. It is a very popular way of starting a business on the internet. As with any sales business, one of the first decisions that must be made is what to sell. New ecommerce store owners may be assisted in making this decision by these product line choice considerations listed below.

What Do You Want to Sell?

When you start your ecommerce business, it is a good idea to take into consideration what you know, and what you enjoy. Selling items that you like is much easier than selling ones that you do not like. If you like them, you are better able to recommend them to others in a convincing matter.

This has to be the easiest place to write and earn money for page views (PV) on the internet.

I’m not sure how eHow figures out what you earn, but you do earn for every page view your articles receive. They aren’t really articles though. They are looking for informational lists of steps to take to do something.

You can write a “How To” article about anything. You can include pictures and videos.

You can write one in less than ten minutes. And you earn residual income for page views as long as people keep looking at your article.

Mastering Niche Marketing: A Definitive Guide to Profiting From Ideas in a Competitive Market

Review

“Hi Eric, it’s Terry Telford from TerryTelford.com. I just wanted to write you a quick note to compliment you on your new book, “Mastering Niche Marketing.” Although I was very impressed with the detail you’ve given, I think you got the title of the book wrong. I would suggest, “If you read this book and apply the principles, you will make money . . . Period.” Although my title is a little longer than yours! In all seriousness, Eric, this book is a must read for anyone who is considering using the internet to earn an extra income, or even making a career of it. The step-by-step detail you’ve covered leaves “no stone unturned.” I feel this book will be beneficial for 2 types of people. The first group of people who n (more…)
